Staying Home

A couple Monday's ago I was out helping my husband in the backyard. H was helping me. We were picking up rocks when we found these two little guys.

Yes, we caught them (and later released them in a special place where they would be ok). Throughout the morning, as G, J, and S slept, we also found a worm (who was also relocated) and several ladybugs. That afternoon I thought, "I am SO blessed to be able to stay home. I would much rather be finding bugs and lizards with my 3-yr.-old than teaching 30 children that aren't mine." Don't get me wrong, I love teaching, but nothing can replace the wonder of my children as they explore the world at this age.
